and do know this to be true
because you quite simply me
have so willfully composed
in verses lithe and luminous
and fertile with your essence
i am
and do celebrate the truth of this
because you have me announced
in a voice that certain carries
far greater truth and sincerity
than any voice i have ever known
i am
and do dedicate myself wholly
unto blessedly ever constant you
who have fulfilled in perfect hue
the very dream i had abandoned:
to dwell at last in the peace of one
