this breathless morning
i feel the fullness of life
the pull of this sphere
beneath the unfailing
luminosity of its dome

on this soulful day
the clouds appease the sun
while sorrows are interred
in the revivifying soil
of unoffended earth

this brilliant moment
i know my direction

this journey
has begun at last
